Toscana IGT Rosso "San Piero" 2021 - Castelfalfi

The fruity notes of Sangiovese perfectly meet in San Piero the typical spicy and velvety notes of Syrah. With an intense ruby red color with light violet reflections, this wine has evident notes of fresh fruit with hints of red and mixed berries, which perfectly match the spicy hints of cinnamon and licorice typical of the Syrah grape. The palate is soft and round, with a persistent finish and characterized by very delicate tannins.

It goes well with tasty red meat and game dishes, with typical Tuscan appetizers based on cold cuts and mature cheeses and bruschetta. If served fresh, it can also be combined with fish dishes such as stewed moscardini or cacciucco alla livornese, rich of red sauce.
