Toscana IGT Vermentino "Poggio I Soli" 2023 - Castelfalfi

Poggio I Soli is a fresh and versatile dry white wine, made with 100% Vermentino grapes. After the harvest, each phase of the vinification aims at the maintenance and enhancement of the most refined and elegant perfumes. The color is a straw yellow and the bouquet shows hints of fresh fruits and Mediterranean scrub, notes of cedar, almond, sage, rosemary and white flowers such as jasmine. The taste is full and balanced, supported by a good acidity and an elegant but strong saltiness. It is appreciated young but is able to evolve even in the medium and long period.

This wine is perfect to match with fish and shellfish; ideal as an aperitif and in combination with all the dishes of the Tuscan culinary tradition in simple preparations, with medium-aged cheeses, white meats, soups and risottos.
